The target group: Ambitious Women
Ambitious women actively drive change within organizations. The program empowers them to pursue their career goals with confidence, maximize their impact, and clearly position themselves as future leaders.
Mentees
The programme is designed for professional women in specialist or management positions – and for those preparing to take the next step in their careers. It speaks to women who are ready to take on responsibility, expand their influence, and actively shape their professional path.
Whether you are at the beginning of your career or already have several years of experience, leadership experience is not required. The focus lies on personal and professional growth through practical workshops and strength-based training in German. Regular participation is recommended to make the most of the exchange and collective learning experience. Age is not a determining factor.
Fresh leadership perspectives, stronger strategic impact, and clear positioning within the company – this programme equips participants with the tools to pursue their ambitions with confidence. It provides space to consciously navigate career goals, broaden perspectives, and strengthen personal impact in a sustainable way.
Mentors
This programme is designed for experienced leaders with at least 15 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 7 years in a management role. Mentors are recognised experts in their field, have a strong professional network, and are eager to share their knowledge purposefully to support mentees on their career journey.
Mentors already take on responsibility within teams, projects, or organisations. They are open-minded, reflective, and willing to share their insights. A genuine interest in guiding, advising, and empowering mentees is essential. Previous mentoring experience is not required, and the time commitment can be adapted to individual availability. The total time required is approximately three hours per month.
The programme creates a platform for meaningful exchange with committed mentees, offers the opportunity to share expertise, and enables mentors to actively contribute to developing the next generation of female leaders.
The highlights of the program
Each CROSS MENTORING program is accompanied by a wide range of supporting events, including networking events, workshops, and many other program components. The following roadmap shows a selection of our favorite events within the program.
KICK OFF
The ceremonial launch of our programme — our beloved “Herzblatt” event — is a moment of excitement and anticipation. It’s when we reveal the tandems for the first time and officially begin the shared mentoring journey.
Strengths coaching
In this session, mentees are coached to enhance their role and gather valuable insights for the rest of the mentoring journey. A subsequent meetup offers space to connect, exchange experiences, and learn from one another.
Career Roadmap
In this workshop, mentees reflect on their professional development to date, set clear goals, and identify concrete steps for their future careers. Building on this, they develop a personalized strategy to specifically strengthen and leverage their professional profile, presence, and personal impact.
Presence & Confidence
In this workshop, mentees explore how voice, presence, and appearance shape their professional impact. They learn how to strengthen their personal brand, cultivate authentic visibility, and present themselves with confidence — gaining greater self-assurance and presence in their daily work.
Insights into our kick-off events
The Matching
Precise matching is the foundation of successful mentoring relationships. Our scientifically proven process ensures that mentees and mentors are optimally matched.
1. Digital Survey:
An online questionnaire to capture career goals, development topics, professional backgrounds, preferences, and organizational conditions of all participants.
2. In-depth Interviews:
One-on-one conversations with all mentees and mentors to deepen the survey insights, clarify expectations, and identify individual needs.
3. Get-to-know Workshop:
In a workshop setting, all mentees and mentors get to know each other. Observations and group dynamics are incorporated into the matching process.
4. Matching:
Expert-led pairing of mentoring tandems by Female Resources, taking into account all collected data.

CROSS MENTORING is a specialized form of mentoring in which the alliance companies collaborate on leadership development. Women who have already achieved success are supported in their career development by a mentor from senior management at another company within the alliance; at the same time, this opens up access to new networks for them.

CROSS MENTORING also serves to retain talented women at the company over the long term and foster their sense of belonging to the organization.

The program sends a clear signal regarding the promotion of women, inclusion, and gender equality within the company.
8. Enhancing ESG reporting in the “Social” category:
CROSS MENTORING helps positively influence companies' mandatory ESG reporting in the social category by supporting initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion.
We are happy to provide companies interested in participating in CROSS MENTORING with information about the start dates of upcoming programs, the program structure, the necessary resources, and the program’s specific focus areas (e.g., IT or the public sector) and target groups (e.g., women being prepared for leadership roles or women who already have leadership experience).
Yes! Even if you’re not participating through your company, you can still join our CROSS MENTORING program as a mentee. We’ll find an experienced mentor from our network who’s the perfect fit for you.

For us, nearly all participants are fully or partially funded by their companies. So feel free to talk to your employer to see if financial support is available for you as well.
